"I came across your web site today and have a question regarding the gentleman they say is Cooper Stoots - have you found out if this is him or someone else? I am attaching a photo that to me looks like the same gentleman.  Tell me what you think? I was told the man in my photo's name is Joseph Burgess who died in a WV coal mine accident in 1925 - somewhere near Logan WV.

Middle Row: L to R; Margaret Campbell (Later Bennett), b. 1892, d. 1952, Mother of Buck Bennett.  She worked in the company store and later(1935-1946) in the company office.,?, ?,?, ?.

 

Back Row: L to R; Peyton Graves (store manager of Eccles Company Store), ?, "Tip" Gay, (later he was the store manager), Cooper Stoots, ?, ?, ?.
