Addition:  I am the daughter of Arch Price, granddaughter of Maria (Mary) Rose Price (Tessaro), G-grand daughter of Madalina and John Tessaro. My cousin Michelle Plumley (Tessaro) sent you a photo that has  my grandma and her siblings when they were little. Michelle didn't know the name of the little one on our g-grandpa's lap. Her  name was Bernitta (Bernice), she was about 17 months old when she died. Grandma Mary said it was from whooping cough AND pneumonia. She said the nurse told g-grandma Madalina to put  her in hot water to break the fever, but it ended up killing her. My grandma always tells us how pretty Bernice was! I thought maybe you could add her name to the photo! Submitted by   Carrie Preston February 12, 2005

The attached picture was located by Claude Lowery (my brother) and it shows a copy of an old picture of the Trap Hill H.S. Football Team in the very early 1930's. The picture has a marking from the Vic Studio in Beckley and unfortunately, some of the names did not get copied. My Dad, Ivan Lowery and Uncle, Palmer Falin are in this picture. Palmer and Margaret Cox Falin were in the first graduating class from the school when it was opened in Surveyor, WV."
