"Photo of my Dad, Elisha L. Carter, this was taken in the late 30's I believe. Also, would like to know if any remembers a Bob Carter from western Virginia, he was a law officer I think in Lee or Scott county Va. Rumor has it that he shot two men by the name of Minor? I believe they moved to Eccles around the same time as Dad, (late 1920'). any information would be appreciated. By the way I have his gun, New Service Colt 45."

"This is a picture of the Fleming brothers who came to Eccles from Clintwood, VA in the thirty's to work in the coal mines. Left to right, Phillip Fleming, Emory Fleming (my dad) and Richard Fleming. Phillip and Richard married sisters, Phillip married Gertrude Falin, & Richard married Carrie Falin, they were also from Eccles, My dad married Bessie Burleson."
