A picture of the Eccles Admirals baseball team (c1940s) that I found when cleaning out my grandmothers house. I had not seen this one before. There are more players in the picture, and my grandpa Tubby Hall is in uniform. (He was the manager)"

Correction: Submitted by Jim Hall II. The child in the middle of the front row is not Tubby's son. I think he is Oakey's nephew according to my dad. My dad is Tubby's son! I have an original of that picture. The third kid on the front row is Tubby's nephew. His name is Allen Croft, the son of Jerry & Thelma Croft. I just thought I would let you know that so you could correct it. My dad said that his name was printed below the picture on a calendar from a bank in Beckley, so that is probably were the mistake came from. But in honor of my uncle Jerry, It would be nice to see it corrected. Thank's"  Jim Hall II

Addition: I know who 2 of the players are since they are my cousins ,standing by Okie Mills & between Frank Bolash is my cousin John Paul Blankenship, this is on the top row he's the 6th player John lives in Mc Arthur. His brother Derwood Blankenship{RED],stooping on the 2nd row beside Cotton White behind 3rd young boy sitting on the ground. Sona Kessler Farmer - Submitted January 18, 2004
