Shiny hockey is an informal ice hockey is played purely for recreational purposes. Any one can participate and play Shiny hockey because it dose not need any skill or practice. It is often referred as street hockey, road hockey and more. The Shiny hockey game is administrated by recreational centers in the city of Edmonton which conducts leisure games for both children and adult. Similar to EMFA the shiny hockey is divided on the basis of age groups and played within that. Anyone who wants to participate in Shiny hockey in Edmonton should purchase admission passes form the recreational centers. The sports accessories like helmet guards and the entire kit should be brought by the players themselves without which they will not be allowed to play the game. Once the ticket is purchased the players can sign-up and move to their corresponding dressing rooms and make themselves ready for the game. The total capacity of players in 28 and team will be separated on the basis of lots. All the children below the age of sixteen must wear cages to protect themselves from any injuries.
